Bargearse - ABC's 'The Late Show'
Просмотров 1448 месяцев назад
Bargearse was an overdubbed version of Bluey, a 70's police drama set in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Bargearse was named after its protagonist, Detective Sergeant Bargearse, an overweight, moustache-sporting "rough-and-tumble" cop. The sketches exploited Bluey's weight with plentiful fat jokes, as well as many fart noises. Bargearse was voiced by Tony Martin, while his sidekicks, Ann Bourke...

Happy birthday Paulie, ooops wrong movie.
Saw this on Rock Arena with Suzanne Dowling back in the day and totally fell in love with it. Think it was the original Country and Western version, though.
wow surfers paradise didnt realise they had 3 lanes going both directions thats insane the trams ruined everything
Amei essa série. ❤
I remember this song
This brings back memories of this classic movie.
excellent version!!!!
Love the Saints always, such a compliment that Bruce Springsteen can see how fabulous Australia is
Kannst du auch mal Szenen von dem Film "Der Flug des Navigators" hochladen oder "Nr. 5 lebt" das wäre toll
One of the best psychedelic songs
amazing song
Yeah. Maybe my entire childhood in a single clip. Being a kid wanting to break into a grownups world; but the music could be toned downed.just one or two notches?
"Of many a Culture there is many a Manner!!" - St. HMAJW."
Who knew 35 years agos those similar robots would be making Uber food deliveries now? Those old Chevrolet Caprice sedans will always look good to me.
This band just brings vibes that cannot be replicated. Some might say “listen to Brian Jonestown massacre” Similar but not the same. Both have their own unique vibe that can’t be matched. If anyone’s actually interested in the band itself and some of the backstory along with Brian Jonestown massacre there’s a rad documentary on it. The documentary is called “dig!”. In saying this though I believe one of the members of the dandy’s said it doesn’t really paint a good image for the Brian’s Jonestown massacre and if I’m not mistaken, I believe both bands respect eachother quite a bit. Both bands have evolved so to speak since that documentary while keeping its roots alive and its vibe still. Shoutout to Courtney, Pete, zia, Brent & Eric for making great tunes for us all to enjoy!
Nostalgia attack! The first song my old school band learned to, er... 'play'. I was the drummer. End of term concert - the physics master provided lighting and dry-ice smoke [🎵On the Water] effects... It was brilliant fun. We got through an entire 12-song set without a single bottle, chair, or can being thrown. This was our triumphant encore. Thanks, Quo! 😁 [We disbanded after the gig because we knew we'd never do anything as good ever again.]
DEPRESSING, I KNOW 2 LOCALS.
Nicole Simpson can’t rap😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Long live the 80s! I need a DeLorean with a flux capacitor. 😢
Zo boring 😅
the doors,zz top, janes addiction.. and dandy warhols- the greatest american bands of all time(imo !)
I loved this band, they were great! I saw them regularly playing the club circuits in Sydney. That was a time when I was young & just starting out in life, I have seen the very best of rock-n-roll music, I'm so glad I got to experience it all. ❤
Saw them at the Enmore last Friday. Still an amazing live show, after all these years. I must admit to being late to the party. A friend who was a live sound engineer in Sydney in the early 90's kept raving about them. It wasn't until EoT that i started to take notice. They're clearly underrated, but i kinda like it that way. To me, they are Canada and Australia's most precious artistic secret. I don't want it any other way.
I love how they took down the Nazi inspired film clip, so they could put advertisements before the song "Defecate On My Face".
Nostalgic adds seem to bring out the worst in geriatric 2sm listeners, whinge, whinge, bloody whinge.
The boys are rocking out
I want to go back to the early 70's !!
i literally found out today that hank Azaria voiced fat tony in this scene and now after listening closely i can hear a bit of Moe in that voice
Man I love Dave Chappell so freaking much
They have absolutely killed the Gold Coast and surfers with the light railway. Surfers was so vibrant bcse the locals made up half the demographic. You could always get a park and driving to Broadbeach to surfers literally took 2 minutes with 4 lanes and two sets of lights. Now for lease signs everywhere and shoddy business that sell absolutely nothing, no parking and traffic lights every 30 meters that are all designed to be red to slow the one lane traffic all the way to nsw
Thanks for the nostalgia. Subbed and shared.
You're most welcome. Thank you.

REPORTED FOR RELIGIOUS BULLYING AND HARASSMENT 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Sounds more like Hank Azaria
While I never saw the Super Jesus, I did see her play solo at Peats Ridge in the mid 2000’s.
One of the greatest Aussie bands of all time, they really don’t get the love they deserve, been a fan since 1995 and always come back to my Jebs ❤
8:15 if this was still open i will blow my mind
4:43
such a good act.
Best band by far that never made it in north America
Poogle ya think censoring this will change anything????? Peons....
I still use "pardon me, coming through" in public to this day. What a film...
I just discovered this. Absolutely amazing.
They had one other music video - from the same (only) album they released. ruclips.net/video/rIGn4dLDU3g/видео.html
I love it
2:17 the way dave said it 😂😂😂
I am not crying, you are crying! 🥰
great song, great band
Blast from the past. Checked in 2024
Ivor is a casual God. LOL. The only thing I ever saw that sucked was his copy of Bowie's Heroes - done out of love for sure, but pointless when he could bring the Ivor to it. Ms Amphlett was like a rare isotope. She saved lives by singing.
Great performance. Love the jam mid way through!
Brilliant song from an underrated band. Loved 'Recovery' on a Saturday morning, great memories
